How far is the villa from the closest city?
Tarquinia city centre lies 7 km away from the villa. You can reach the city center in some 5 minutes by car.
How far is the villa from the nearest beach?
The nearest public beach is in Tarquinia Lido which is 15 minutes’ drive away from the villa. Our favourite beach, Ultima Spiaggia, is less than half an hour drive from the villa.
Do we need a car to get around?
Getting around without a car can be difficult due to distances and the lack of public transportation. So, we do recommend that you have a car at your disposal.
How can I get from Fiumicino International Airport to the villa?
Quite easily. It takes an hour by car from Fiumicino Airport and it is quite straight forward. You will get detailed driving directions by email after confirming your reservation. Naturally, you can also use a navigator in your car or mobile device.
Is breakfast included?
Unfortunately not, as this is a self catering accommodation. However, for an additional fee, we can arrange breakfast food items of your choice to the villa before your arrival. Otherwise the guests take care of their own groceries.
How far is the nearest grocery store?
The nearest grocery stores are located close to the old town. Supermarket Coop is 7 km away and Carrefour 7.5 km away from the villa. Carrefour is the largest supermarket in Tarquinia and it is open 24/7 throughout the year. You can find idyllic special grocery shops in the old town and its surroundings – meat, fish, vegetables, bread/pastries and Italian delicacies, not to forget quality wines!
